How to Edit a Scheduled Activity

Edited

There are two ways to edit a scheduled activity in the StoriiCare Calendar, depending on what you need to change. Some details can be updated directly on the scheduled activity, while others — such as the activity name, tags, instructions, description, and location — are managed from the Activities Database and will need to be updated there.

Editing a Scheduled Activity Directly

  • Open the Calendar from the Dashboard and locate your activity

  • Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the activity

  • Select Edit

  • Make your changes and click Save in the top left-hand corner of the screen

Editing Permanent Activity Details

Some fields — including the activity Name/Title, Tags, Instructions, Description, and Location — are set at the database level and cannot be changed from the scheduled activity directly. To update these:

  • Open the scheduled activity and click on the Activity Name

  • This will open the Activities Database

  • Click Manage Activities in the top right-hand corner

  • Search for and find the activity you wish to edit

  • Click the pencil icon

  • Make your changes and click Save

  • Click Stop Editing in the top right-hand corner

IMPORTANT: Changes made in the Activities Database will only apply to newly scheduled activities going forward. Follow the steps below to apply your changes to existing/scheduled activities or events.

Applying Database Changes to Existing Scheduled Activities

To reflect updated activity details on activities that are already scheduled:

  • Locate the activity in the Calendar

  • Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner

  • Select Edit

  • Confirm the updates are reflected, then click Save

  • When prompted, select either This Event or All Events
