Customizing the Radio Buttons Component
Radio buttons are designed for single-select questions, making them ideal for simple choice scenarios such as Yes/No or True/False questions. If you require users to select more than one option, consider using the Checkbox or Dropdown components instead.
To Configure the Radio Buttons Component:
1. Click on the component to select it.
2. Type in your Group label (e.g., your question or prompt).
3. Click 'Not Set' to enter your response label in the Options panel to the right-hand side.
4. Use the Duplicate icon (two squares) to create another radio button option, update the Label, and repeat as needed.
5. Click the settings wheel icon to open the Options panel on the right-hand side.
4. Customize the component using the settings below:
Layout & Appearance
• Margins: Add pixel values for the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right margins to control spacing around the dropdown. This is especially useful when placing the component inside tables or structured layouts.
• Font Size: Adjust the font size of the dropdown text. The default is set to 16px.
• Text Styles & Alignment: Style the dropdown label with bold, italic, underline, or strikethrough. Set text alignment to left, center, right, or justified.
• Image (specific to the radio button): If you want the radio button options to be images rather than text, you can upload files here.
Field Behavior
• Include in Analytics: Enable this setting to include user selections in StoriiCare’s Analytics feature for reporting and data review.
• Is Required: Check this option if the field must be completed before the form can be submitted.
• Is Pre-Selected (specific to the radio button): Check this option if you want a specific response to be pre-selected.
• Matrix Score (specific to the radio button): If you are building a scored assessment, this is where you can apply the numerical value to each radio button label.
